RTI Structure in LIC For Obtaining Information : LIC has implemented RTI Act in the true spirit since inception with the aim of promoting transparency and accountability in everyday working and is very sensitive of being implementing in best possible manner.
For the smooth functioning of the RTI Mechanism and to cater to the needs of information seekers, the Corporation has taken measures to ensure that the RTI Personnel are placed at every level within the Organisation and also in the nook and corner of the country.

During the year 2015-16 the Corporation has adopted Government of India’s RTI online portal, developed by DOPT, across the country, connecting all Offices of the Corporation under a single system. This has created a direct on-line access for the information seekers.
